On day one, Japanese PS3 gamers will be able to purchase the e-Distribution game Blast Factor, with demos of flOw, Lemmings, Kazuo (Go! Sudoku), and Puzzle also available to try. Full versions of these e-Distribution titles will be released before the end of the year. An information service starring Toro the cat will also be available to Japanese gamers.

Also available from day one will be a playable demo of Ridge Racer 7. Sony has already promised a playable demo of MotorStorm on day one of the US launch, so it looks like the two regions will be receiving different content.

Sony has also listed a bunch of PSone titles which will be available to purchase via your PS3 and then play on your PSP (PS3 compatibility will arrive later in the year). Available at some point in November will be Resident Evil Director’s Cut, the insane mini-game collection Bishi Bashi Special, Arc the Lad, Hot Shots Golf 2, Silent Bomber, Mr Driller and Tekken 2. Sony has also revealed plans to release a further ten PSone titles in each subsequent month.

The PlayStation 3 is scheduled to launch in Japan on November 11, with the North American release following on November 17.
