Acclaimed cutesy RPG franchise Costume Quest from Double Fine is to be made into an animated series for Amazon, with Adventure Time production company Frederator Studios behind the project.

Work on the show was actually announced back in May 2015, with Frederator Studios talking about an 11-minute cartoon based on the world originally created by Tasha Sounart.

The show will premiere in 2018, though it’s currently not known if it will feature the same themes as the two games which followed band of trick-or-treaters who whilst out on Halloween ended up having to fight monsters.

If you recognise the name Frederator Studios, that may be because the firm was recently in the news as the producer of the Netflix Castlevania series.
