RAD, the upcoming top down brawling rougelike, has been given a release date of August 20 by publisher Bandai Namco.

Coming from developer Double Fine productions, RAD sees you dive into a radioactive wasteland, where they'll be able to grab power ups that mutate their bodys in order to help them survive the stages, in what looks to be a cross between Bastion and Kid Chamelon with distinctly 80s stylings to the game.

Futhermore, the developer is also offering fans the chance to get their grafitti art into the game via an online competition. The winner will see their art used in the game, and also nab a skateboard, glow-in-the-dark action figure, lunch box and floppy disk for their trouble.

RAD will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch from August 20. Here's a trailer:
