Double Fine’s Kickstarter funded point-and-click adventure now has the official name “Broken Age”, the game’s website has revealed.

“Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives,” explains the website’s blurb. “The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster-but she decides to fight back.

“Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.”

The project was baked by more than 87,000 people and generated funding of $3,336,371.

If you weren’t a backer then you can still get in on the beta by pre-ordering. $15 gets you a DRM-free copy of the game and beta access. Part with $30 to receive backer access.
