Hamster has confirmed (via Nintendo Everything) that Arcade Achieves Double Dragon, a port of the classic retro beat-’em-up, will be hitting the Switch tomorrow after previously being delayed from its original late 2017 window.

Double Dragon will be up for grabs on the Nintendo eShop, where it’ll retail for £6.29/$7.99. The Switch version will include two-player co-op (it’d be a crime if it didn’t) using split Joy-Con functionality.

If you’re too young to remember the late 80s gaming scene (psst, it was great), then you should probably know that Double Dragon is a stone cold classic. Its story captured generations, weaving a tale of…okay, that’s a lie. The story was guff. All you need to know is that you roam the streets as two brothers, duffing up legions of thugs along the way; it’s dead simple, but loads of fun nonetheless.

Double Dragon spawned a successful franchise and became one of the quintessential examples of retro side scrolling fighters alongside the likes of Streets of Rage and Final Fight.Â
