Doom’s Open Beta will take place April 15-18, giving PS4, Xbox One and PC gamers the chance to try out the game without the need for an access code, Bethesda has announced.
In the beta you’ll be able to play Team Deathmatch and Warpath on the Heatwave and Infernal maps.
Bethesda has also detailed id Software’s plans for three premium DLCs and Season Pass, with the first content coming in the summer.
First DLC
- Three new maps
- One new weapon
- One new playable demon
- One new armour set
- One new piece of equipment
- New hack modules and taunts
- New customization colours and patterns
Individual packs will cost £11.99, or you can opt for a Season Pass featuring all packs for £29.99.
In addition, multiplayer will receive free content updates in the form of new game modes, while SnapMap will be updated with map modules; props and objects; additional features and functionality; AI enhancements; editing tool enhancements and more.
