According to reports on respected industry site GamesIndustry.biz, the long-awaited DOOM film has been pushed back to later this year. Originally due in the summer, confirmation comes from the official website of the delay.

The film – depending on what you read – is either a sci-fi flick, or a more contemporary modern-day setting. Again, according to where you read it, the film has a fairly prominent role for Dwayne Johnson, better known as WWE’s ‘The Rock’, who seems to be carving a career for himself in the movies.
