As revealed at last night’s Nintendo Direct event, Bethesda has announced that it’s bringing Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to the Nintendo Switch. Yes, really. Doom will be out later this year, and Wolfenstein II will follow in 2018. Snap Maps on the go… give me strength!

A brief clip of what looked like in-game footage for Doom on the Nintendo Switch was shown during the presentation, and whilst it doesn’t have that high resolution look of the other consoles, it looks pretty impressive considering it’s running on the hybrid console.

No footage was shown of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, but we’ll keep you updated on developments as we get them.
