After earlier reports that DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil will be coming to the Xbox, Activision has confirmed that the game is indeed heading to Microsoft’s console. Unlike the PC release this expansion will be a standalone release for the Xbox, making it appealing to those who did not pick up DOOM 3.
DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil will debut at QuakeCon this week along with a showing of the Multiplayer modes in Quake 4. All the classic modes are included: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Arena, CTF and Tournament modes. Quake 4 is being developed by Raven Software for PC and Xbox 360, and you can expect more coverage on both releases when QuakeCon kicks off on August 11th.
