Fans of South Park: The Stick of Truth shouldn’t expect to see DLC hitting the virtual shelves after developer Obsidian revealed to Polygon that it believes publisher Ubisoft is pretty much done with the game.

“As far as we know [Ubisoft and South Park] are done,” said Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart. Despite this, Urquhart says that DLC was on the cards in the early days of development, but the game’s troubles as it shifted between publishers put an end to any such talks.

“We had always talked about it, extending the story through DLC, it was just stuff on paper,” Urquhart said. “But it never went beyond talking about it. That was when THQ was involved. When it moved to Ubisoft, there was more pressure to get it done. I think that became the priority, so we got it done.”

Urquhart adds that the developer is reaching out to Ubisoft to see if anything else can be done with the game in the future. What that could be, though, is anyone’s guess.

PS4 and Xbox One ports, perhaps?
