Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality has been given a release date of September 30, 2021 by developer/publisher Maze Theory.

The expanded and reimagined version of 2019’s Doctor Who: The Edge of Time drops the VR requirement and features not just one, but two iterations of the time travelling Doctor. Thrown into the mysterious Chaosverse, you’ll team up with both the Tenth and Thirteenth Doctors against classic Who villains such as the Daleks, the Weeping Angels and the Cybermen.

Both Jodie Whittaker and David Tennant provide the voices for their iconic respective roles, and Maze Theory promise “brand new gameplay, brand new challenges and new locations to explore” over the original game. You can check out the release date trailer for the adventure below.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality is set to launch on September 30 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
