Doctor Who heads to PSVR and PC in The Edge of Time

If you're a fan of Doctor Who then you might want to make sure you've got access to a VR headset, as publisher PlayStack and developer Maze Theory have announced they are working on an official Doctor Who VR game.

Entitled Doctor Who: The Edge of Time, the game will see players pilot the TARDIS in an attempt to thwart a virus 'that threatens to rip apart reality itself'.  The game will  feature Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor and the Doctor's most iconic enemies: The Daleks.

Other foes such as The Weeping Angels will appear, and we're also promised nods to 'other known faces' from across the show's 55 year history, including some new never before seen monsters thrown in as per the offical announcement.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Time is slated for a September release later this year, and will be available on PlayStation VR and PC via Steam VR, Oculus VR headsets and Vive VR headsets. Here's a trailer:
