Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition launches later this month on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will come packaged with a spruced up Arena Mode, developer Larian has announced.
The Definitive Edition includes far more options for players, including solo and multiplayer turn-based combat, as well as 16 characters that includes Malady, Zandalor, and Radeka, who are playable for the first time.
Also new to the table are Mutators, which can cough up skills or switch up parameters during combat. These can be customised by the game host and offer things like reducing your overall health or giving players magical wings to aid in navigation.
Arena Mode consists of two flavours — Classic Deathmatch and Kill the King — and three different loot chests, namely Destruction Coffer, Control Coffer, and Source Coffer, with 13 different maps to duke it out on.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition is due out on August 31, with PC owners getting it as a free update.
