Divinity: Fallen Heroes, a tactical-RPG romp set within the same universe as the acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin II, is currently in development at Larian Studios and will launch in 2019.

Due for release on 'multiple platforms,' Divinity: Fallen Heroes sees players leading the 60-strong crew of The Lady Vengeance, fusing ‘rich tactical gameplay’ with classic RPG elements, such as choice and consequence. There’s single-player and cooperative modes available, and you’ll spend your time recruiting troops to your cause and levelling up your heroes.

When the time comes for a good ruck, Divinity: Fallen Heroes gives you access to a massive arsenal of guns and rifles, although the usual swords and sorcery will also play a part in combat. Meanwhile, elements offer new wrinkles to the tactical table, including Oil, Fire, Ice, Water, and Poison.

'With the fate of the races in your hands, it’s up to you to lead the Lizards, Elves, Dwarves, Undead, Demons and Humans. Recruit hero and veteran units and dispatch squads armed with both magic and steel,' reads the blurb.
