Square Enix has announced that its arena fighting game, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, will be released in Europe on January 30, 2018. In addition to this, Square Enix, also announced there’d be an Ultimate Collector’s Edition and a Limited Edition steelbook version of the game. Not content with sharing all this good news, the developer and publisher revealed a tutorial video for the game to give an in-depth look at the tactical elements of the team-based brawler. ‘Marlene, let’s go’.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s Limited Edition comes with a steelbook and exclusive artwork of the game’s heroes and villains. The Ultimate Collector’s Edition will come with everything from the Limited Edition as well as a collector’s box, a 21cm tall Warrior of Light bust figurine, the official soundtrack, an 80-page artbook, and the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT season pass that grants access to six new characters and post launch content. Fans can also pre-order the game digitally from the PlayStation Store and receive an exclusive theme, plus the Nail Bat for Cloud Strife.
Square Enix has previously announced that selected PS4 players would be able to take part in a closed beta test for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT from August 26, until September 4. Registration for this beta closed on August 15.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a 3v3 team-based arena brawler with action RPG elements. Players can choose from more than 20 characters from the Final Fantasy series of games, as they pit heroes against villains and reveal elements of the story with each battle.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be out on January 30 exclusively for the PS4.
