Square Enix has emerged with bruised knuckles this morning grasping a vibrant Dissidia Final Fantasy NT launch trailer for your viewing pleasure. Today marks the official release of the high-paced brawler on PS4 following its arcade debut way back in 2015.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin. You pick from a huge roster of eclectic characters spanning the multi-million selling JRPG series, plonk them in some recognisable arenas, and have them batter each other silly. So, if you’ve ever wanted to settle the score between Cloud and Sephiroth or smack Tidus around for that bloody awful laugh, then NT’s got you covered.Â
Outside of your standard flavour of moves, the scrapper also offers heaps of flashier, cinematic attacks including summons and chain combos. Some of these can even turn the tide of battle if your team is taking a pummelling, so it pays to know when to save your attacks for a rainy day.Â
