The first wave of characters for Disney’s unannounced Disney Infinity 3.0 appears to have leaked online, offering a hint at what to expect from this year’s toys-to-life game.
The images (posted by Infinity Inquirer) appear to have originated from Chinese retailer Taobao and show a line-up of 11 characters, including Frozen’s Olaf, Tron Legacy’s Sam Flynn and Quorra, classic Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Mulan, and five characters from this summer’s Inside Out.
The images are believed to have been spotted by a member of the Disney Infinity Fans forums and later posted by Infinity Inquirer. Infinity Inquirer’s post has since been removed “at the request of Disney Interactive”, although the images and original article are still visible in Google Cache.
References to the characters also appear to have been removed from Taobao.
Disney has yet to reveal Disney Infinity 3.0 or confirm this year’s line-up of characters. VideoGamer.com has contacted Disney for comment.
