Bethesda and Arkane Studios are gearing up for the launch of Dishonored 2 on November 11 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and have released a brand new live action trailer to get everyone excited. It’s two minutes long and manages to look excellent and a bit ropey at the same time.

‘Take Back What’s Yours’ depicts what happens when mad witch Delilah seizes the throne, with Emily and Corvo fighting to restore power. As you can see, the live action short film manages to capture the look of the game remarkably well, especially through the use of soft lighting, but some of the CGI lets the production down somewhat.

The trailer also focuses primarily on the more offensive side to combat in the game, rather than pushing the use of stealth – somewhat odd given that stealth is generally thought to be the ideal way to play.

If you’re on the fence about Dishonored 2, you should know that Alice liked what she played very much. She also put together a little guide on how the two main characters, Emily and Corvo, play. They’re very different, don’t you know. We’ve also got a video preview for you below so you can see for yourself how well the game is shaping up.
