DICE has announced that the Open Beta for Battlefield V will kick off on September 6.
Those of you who have pre-ordered the World War II shooter can get access to the beta on September 4. Likewise, early access will also be given out for subscribers to EA Access, Origin Access, and Origin Access Premier.
The Battlefield V Open Beta will offer up the chance to get stuck into the 64-player Conquest Mode, which takes place across the Rotterdam and Arctic Fjord maps.
In addition, players can also participate in two 'days' worth of Grand Operations, where each day is represented by one round of play. Grand Operations are inspired by real historical events, and your actions will have a direct affect on the next round.
Finally, the beta will also offer a glimpse at Battlefield V's sprawling Tides of War feature, which will see narrative-based updates every few months following the game's launch. For the beta, you'll be able to sample a five-part chapter for Tides of War, earning you an in-game Dog Tag for Battlefield V on release day.
Battlefield V is due out for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 19.
Much like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, DICE's shooter is also having a stab at the battle royale genre, although right now all we have is a very brief teaser from last week's Gamescom trailer.
