Diablo III has broken PC sales records with over six million sales and now Blizzard has released some interesting stats collected since its release.
Blizzard says that on average players have created three characters each, with 80 per cent of characters between levels 1 and 30.
Only 1.9 per cent of characters have unlocked Inferno difficulty.
Elsewhere, Hardcore players have a slight preference for the female characters, accounting for 54 per cent of players. Of the Hardcore players, 35 per cent die in Act I Normal.
And finally something for all you rune lovers. The most used runes for each class at level 60 are:
- Barbarian: Best Served Cold
- Demon Hunter: Lingering Fog
- Wizard: Mirror Skin
- Monk: Peaceful Repose
- Witch Doctor: Numbing Dart
