Diablo III: Eternal Collection will arrive on Switch on November 2, Nintendo has announced. That's a pretty fitting date, seeing as how it happens to be the same day that BlizzCon 2018 kicks off.

For the uninitiated, the Eternal Collection includes the base version of Blizzard's acclaimed dungeon crawling romp, as well as a bunch of additional content such as the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer add-ons.

Switch players will also be able to tuck into some four-player cooperative antics, as well as enjoy exclusive Nintendo-themed goodies such as an armour set inspired by Zelda baddie, Ganondorf.

The original version of Diablo III was released in 2012 on PC, and later turned up on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 the following year. It was then ported to current-generation consoles in 2014 under the moniker of Ultimate Evil Edition, complete enhanced visuals and frame rate.
