Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime will reveal details about the Diablo III Beta today during the Activision Blizzard First Quarter 2011 Financial Result conference call tonight.
Morhaime originally announced on February 9 that he would be detailing the Beta in his next upcoming conference call, stating at the time that:
“Development continues to go well, and we’re very excited about the game. Our most recent public showcase for Diablo III was at the G-Star show in Korea, where demo stations attracted huge lines of players. I’m looking forward to sharing some more news about the game and our upcoming Beta on the next call.”
Many are speculating that Morhaime is likely to reveal a date for the Beta’s launch.

Very exciting stuff. You might remember Morhaime making a similar announcement for Starcraft II during Blizzard’s 2009 conference call, and was followed by the Beta just one week later. Here’s hoping Diablo III will follow that example.
