Blizzard has promised no Diablo 4 updates until the release of Season 10. As the popular ARPG continues to suffer from its seasonal release structure, the developer is seemingly making huge changes behind the scenes.

With a new expansion already shown to content creators, which appears to be taking players back to Westmarch, Blizzard is working on something huge. However, before that, Season 10 is the main focus.

Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR coming soon

Speaking to fans on Twitter, Blizzard’s director of social & content marketing Adam Fletcher revealed the PTR period for Season 10 is only a few weeks away.

“S10 PTR is still a few weeks out,” Fletcher told fans on social media while also explaining that reveals will be massively changed in the coming weeks.

“We are doing a big revamp for streams going forward to change up the format,” Fletcher told fans. “Will have some adjustments on how we do PTR streams as well.”

Fletcher explained that the current campfire and dev streams “need some adjustments after a few years” with the team changing focus to “better serve players” and respond to feedback.

The Diablo social lead revealed that more information on the upcoming changes will be confirmed in the coming weeks, but left few other details.

Following the underwhelming seasonal format of Diablo 4, many players have wished for more substantial updates that actually push the game forward. While a new expansion is on the way, and should release sometime in early 2026, the core of post-release updates currently remains the same.

So far, Blizzard’s upcoming plans for Diablo 4 appear promising with numerous content creators claiming the studio is finally listening to fans. We have no idea what that means specifically, but we’re hoping for the best.
