The recent Diablo 4 Campfire Chat livestream appears to have gone down really well with fans of the game. Many issues players had with the game’s setup and mechanics are set to be addressed in the upcoming 1.1.1 patch notes. Among the many changes making their way to the game is a revision to the loot that Treasure Goblins drop in Diablo 4.
While players’ concerns surrounding the viability of the Sorcerer class in-game are being addressed in the upcoming patch, players had previously noted that the Treasure Goblins in Diablo 4 were not up to scratch. Players had previously noted that the creatures were “underwhelming” and “never drop anything good.” However, the upcoming 1.1.1 patch looks like it will be addressing this very issue. The Diablo 4 development team noted that Treasure Goblins will now drop Guaranteed Legendary drops starting at level 15.
Needless to say, this planned change has been welcomed by the Diablo 4 community as a huge win. The change will also allow for players who don’t have as much time to dedicate to Diablo 4 to still feel like they’re getting something out of chasing down the Treasure Goblins. Alongside the proposed changes to the Sorcerer and Barbarian classes, it might be possible that we see a return of players who previously put down the game.
One former player even mentioned they might be up for returning to Diablo 4 as the Treasure Goblin change really won them over. They said, “When does this take effect?
