Diablo 3 is the latest game to run at 1080p on PS4 but only 900p on Xbox One, senior producer Julia Humphreys has confirmed.
Despite the disparity in display, both games will run at 60 frames per second.
“We’re prioritising frame rate,” Humphreys told Joystiq in regard to the difference between the platforms.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition arrives August 19 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3. The PlayStation versions of the game will also feature exclusive enemies from The Last of Us and Shadow of the Colossus.
