Devil’s Third, which launched in the UK back on August 28 and in the US more recently in December, will have its online servers closed on December 29, 2016.
In addition, sale of the game’s Golden Eggs will be discontinued on June 27.
As a result of the game’s upcoming online component closure Nintendo confirmed an immediate price drop from £49.99 to £24.99.
“We are deeply thankful to all the players who have enjoyed this title’s online multiplayer service, and thank you for your understanding regarding this decision,” reads the Nintendo support post.
