Following the release of a new trailer for THQ's Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon which only referenced the Xbox 360 version, the publisher has confirmed that the title will no longer be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3.

Speaking to Shacknews, THQ confirmed that the PS3 version has been cancelled, citing "development issues" on the platform.

The game's set for release in North America next week. A European release date is still to be confirmed.
