Destroy All Humans! and the sequel Destroy All Humans! 2 were some of the most enjoyable games on the Xbox and PlayStation 2.
And the good news is that Destroy All Humans! 2 is getting a remake, well, as THQ call it, a ‘reprobe’ bringing it into current-gen graphics glory powered by Unreal Engine 4.
For those new to the game, you play an alien called Crypto who has a ‘license to probe’.
It’s set in the ‘60s in all its chemical-induced glory, and sees you take revenge on the KGB for blowing up your mothership.
As well as updated graphics, the Reprobed version will include all of the Crypto skins from the first game, plus you’ll be able to customize your flying saucer.
Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed release date
According to the Steam listing, Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed will be coming out on August 30.
You’re able to pre-purchase the game on Steam for £34.99 while the Dressed to Skill Edition comes in at t £44.99.
We’re expected to hear more about the game at the TGQ Nordic presentation, which takes place later today (August 12).
The game will also be arriving for PS5 and Xbox. No Switch version has been announced as yet.
