Destiny 2: Forsaken isn't out for a couple of months yet, but those of you looking for a chance to hoover up some juicy 400-power armour will have their chance in this summer's Solstice of Heroes event.

Arriving on July 31, this feature is something of a memorial and celebration, marking the demise of the first Tower and the rebirth of the Golden Age. That's a fancy way of saying you'll be replaying old story missions, albeit in an altered state.

These Redux missions will focus on five campaign highlights: Homecoming, Spark, Payback, 1AU, and Chosen. Finishing these will allow you to upgrade the Solstice of Heroes armour, which is the same clobber your Guardian was wearing when the Tower was demolished.

First up is the 240-level Shattered set, which will be followed by Rekindled and Resplendent at levels 340 and 400, respectively.

Furthermore, these pieces of armour will also change in appearance. For example, Shattered looks a bit of a mess as it's based on the stuff you were wearing after you lost your powers, hence the name. The best armour is a lovely golden colour, though.

Finally, players can also grab a special Eververse engram with the release of Solstice of Heroes. Don't forget that Moments of Triumph is now live for those looking to hoover up some rewards for all that hard grinding.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is scheduled for release on September 4 on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. There's plenty of new content coming with the expansion, including a new PvP mode.
