The first raid for Destiny 2 has been beaten, already. A Destiny clan called The Legend Himself (how apt) was the first to succeed at beating the challenge of the Leviathan, defeating the final boss in under six hours. Leviathan only went live at 6pm last night, and it looks like quite the doozy, with loads of platforming, plenty of enemies and some quite lovely looking environments to contend with.

Bungie watched the event at its Seattle headquarters, cheering on the clan as they got closer to their goal, and probably hating them a little inside, because the raid took so long to create.

Plenty of other clans had tried their best to be the first to complete the raid, but the plaudits go to The Legend Himself. Congratulations.

To celebrate The Legend Himself’s completion of the Leviathan Raid, Bungie has released a new PvP Crucible map which is set on the Leviathan, and it’s called Emperor’s Respite.
