Xur and his weird sort-of-face are back this weekend, with another collection of exotic bits and bobs on offer. This time he’s pitched up a bit closer to home, landing on Earth. Your nearest fast travel point is the Winding Cove, but he’s up a bit of a hill so you might not spot him immediately.
This week Xur is offering a bumper crop of helmets. Look away now if you’d rather not know any specifics.
The weapon this weekend is the Vigilance Wing, a pulse rifle costing 29 Legendary Shards. It’s got some pretty cool last man standing style buffs, healing on an ally death and improving performance when you’re the last living member on the fireteam.
Foetracer is a really cool helmet for a Hunter, costing 23 Legendary Shards, visually marking targeted enemies and buffing damage to marked enemies with low health.
An Insurmountable Skullfort is a Titan helmet, but its buffs are mostly related to Arc melee abilities, so you might want to think about the subclass you favour. This again costs 23 Legendary Shards.
Finally there’s Nezarec’s Sin, the Warlock helmet, which improves handling on equipped energy weapons and buffs ability recharges when you make kills with void damage, making this very much a Voidwalker’s helmet. 23 Legendary Shards, if you hand’t guessed.
Remember that Xur’s weapons scale to your character’s power level, so don’t go shopping with your alt character.
