Bungie is gearing up for the release of Destiny 2's second major expansion, Warmind, next week alongside a slew of new updates for the alien-slaying shooter. Before that however, there's yet another weekly reset to help pass the time, which also happens to be the last one before Season 3 comes knockin'.

The Nightfall Strike is likely your first port of call for weekly activities, as it coughs up some pretty sweet loot; and really, that's what Destiny 2 boils down to at the end of the day, loot. And lots of it. This week, you'll be tackling Savathun's Song, which comes with the two Challenges: Unbroken and The Best Defense. Your reward comes in the shape of a flashy auto rifle known as Duty Bound.

Mercury servers as your location for this week's Flashpoint, so head over there and start hoovering up Public Events to earn your Luminous Engram from irreverent mechanical man Cayde-6. Don't forget to buy some treasure maps from him if you've got the spare Glimmer (which shouldn't really be a problem at this point).

The Crucible as always houses a weekly Milestone to complete, so start scoring victories to receive your prize from Lord Shaxx. Remember that this week also sees the return of Iron Banner, which this time around tasks Guardians with competing in Control matches.

Finally, the Heroic Strike Milestone is up for grabs as per usual, requiring you to polish off three of the tough-as-nails missions. Not played Destiny 2 yet? Let Alice convince you why it's actually pretty solid despite what you may have heard.
