Activision has revealed gameplay footage of the PC version of Destiny 2 running at 4K, in advance of the PC open beta which will run from August 29-31. The beta gives players a chance to play part of the ‘epic storyline’ and delve into a few cooperative and multiplayer modes. Players who’ve pre-purchased the game from Blizzard’s now-back-to-being-called Battle.net will get 24-hour early access starting from August 28.

The PC beta provides the first opportunity for players to try out Destiny 2’s campaign mode. Players will also be able to take the fight to the Cabal below the surface of the centaur minor planet, Nessus, as part of the three-player cooperative Strike The Inverted Spire. During the beta players can dive into the Crucible, putting their PvP competitive skills to the test in the two brand new 4v4 modes, Control and Countdown.

Destiny 2 launches worldwide on September 6 on PS4 and Xbox One, followed by a PC release on October 24.
