Bungie has finally patched in a vital clue for Destiny 2's notoriously difficult Niobe Labs puzzle, allowing Guardians the chance to actually complete the quest, which forms part of the Black Armory DLC.
Well, to be more accurate, it was pretty much impossible to beat without the clue, so Bungie decoupled it from the loot it was meant to unlock. The riddle is made up of various hints that must be decoded, allowing players to then progress to the next stage of the conundrum.
'Unfortunately, a string on Level 7 was improperly removed which would have provided additional information,' said the company. 'In lieu of this missing piece of the puzzle, we are providing the clue below to help players on their quest to complete Niobe Labs once and for all.'
Players have now managed to crack the puzzle, which coughs up an Exotic Ghost Shell and a new emblem.
Bungie confirmed last week that it had split with partner Activision after eight years. It now has full control over the franchise, including publishing rights.
