A defect Amiibo of Metroid protagonist Samus Aran has been sold for $2,500 on Ebay – $2,487 more than its original selling price.
The defective figurine features dual arm cannons making it a highly sought-after collectible amongst fans. It isn’t known if any other defect Amiibos exist in the wild.
“This item is extremely rare (the only one like it I have seen so far),” wrote the seller, from Louisville, Colorado. “This figure features cannons on both arms, compared to the regular figure which only has one cannon on the right arm.”
Amiibos usually retail in the US for $12.99.
