Introversion Software had a tough task following the critically acclaimed Darwinia, but did a stellar job when it released DEFCON back in September 2006. The game was primarily offered as a download only title, although boxed copied were available direct from Introversion.

Some nine months later the game is finally to get a retail release. The boxed version will be available from June 15 and will also come bundled with Introversion’s first title, Uplink – set in the seedy underground world of computer hacking.
