Deep Silver is bringing Persona 5 to Europe.
The publisher revealed details on its partnership with Atlus earlier this afternoon, where it confirmed that it would be bringing Atlus titles and “select SEGA titles” to Europe, including Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse.
The announcement follows reports earlier this year revealing that Persona’s previous European publisher NIS America had cut ties with Atlus, leading to speculation over who would be bringing the next game in the series to Europe.
It isn’t yet clear whether Persona 5 will arrive in Europe in-line with its North American release next February, or whether there will be a further wait for European fans.

“We are delighted to have signed this publishing partnership and look forward to using all our pan-European publishing network to maximize the potential of the ATLUS and SEGA games,” said Deep Silver CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz.
“In entering this partnership with Deep Silver, I am truly delighted we will be able to release our titles in the European regions,” added Naoto Hiraoka, CEO of Atlus USA and senior VP of Publishing at Sega of America. “Not only does the deal span multiple titles, but Deep Silver has a strong presence in European and PAL retailers. They have a strong passion for being able to deliver physical games to our fans in those territories, which we hold in high regard.”
In addition to Persona 5 and SMT 4: Apocalypse, Deep Silver also has plans to bring SEGA’s 7th Dragon III Code: VFD to Europe. It most recently worked with Japanese developer Comcept to bring Mighty No.9 to European stores.
