Xbox has just revealed a licensed Deadpool Xbox controller that is apparently designed by the Merc with a Mouth himself.
Revealed on Xbox Wire yesterday, the “Cheeky Controller” is in preparation for July 26th’s launch of Deadpool & Wolverine. It is available in Deadpool’s signature colour-way, though unfortunately it’s only available to those who enter and win a specific competition. This competition will be open to anyone aged 18+ around the world.
Similarly, there is also an opportunity to win a Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Holder (no relation to Cable of the Marvel universe), which is available to the first 1,000 purchasers of an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 from the Microsoft Store on July 22nd.
This has been the case for previous exclusive Xbox hardware launches before, and it means we will likely never see Wade Wilson’s ass up for sale in local stores.
Further additional prize opportunities include a Deadpool-themed Xbox Series X, which comes with two foam katanas.
