A remastered version of side-scrolling survival horror Deadlight is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 21, Deep Silver has announced.

Developed collaboratively between Tequila Works and Abstraction Games, Deadlight: Director’s Cut features support for full 1080p visuals, improved controls and additional animations, plus a brand new ‘Survival Arena’ mode, and is described by Deep Silver as the “ultimate version”.

The game will be available as a £15.99 download.

Deadlight first launched on Xbox 360 and PC in 2012, and sees lead character Randall Wayne attempting to survive in a world overrun by zombies. The game scored 6/10 in our review, with our reviewer noting that, while it looked “really pretty”, it failed to “create a compelling narration no matter how hard it tries”.
