Nordic Games’ ‘first-person Uncharted’ Deadfall Adventures has been delayed until November 15 on Xbox 360 and PC.

The game had previously been due to release on September 27.

In a statement provided to VideoGamer.com this afternoon, Nordic explained that the two month delay is to offer more time to ensure a simultaneous launch on PC and Xbox 360, and to localise the game for a Japanese release.

“We decided to delay the release mainly for two reasons,” read the statement.

“We want to release simultaneously on PC and Xbox 360, [and] there has been an explicitly stated interest from Japan so we decided to work on a full Japanese translation. This will take us some more time, also in relation to the console-submission.”

In addition to announcing a revised date, Nordic also revealed details on Deadfall Adventures’ Collector’s Edition, which contains a range of single-player and multiplayer skins, a Making Of film, original soundtrack and artbook.

The Collector’s Edition will cost £54.99 on Xbox 360 and £44.99 on PC.

“What we’ve added to the Collector’s Edition is a real bonus for players; they’ll be able to enjoy the prestigious produced edition that includes a wealth of content that is also great value for money,” said Reinhard Pollice, business & product development director at Nordic Games.

“The game will propel players into a first person shooter with around 70% action and 30% traps/riddles. We carefully balanced the pacing between action and mind work to let the story sink in properly.”
