Visceral Games, the studio behind the hit Dead Space franchise and God of War-alike Dante’s Inferno, is creating a new franchise, according to a job advertisement for a lead multiplayer designer.
The ad, spotted by OXM, states the lead multiplayer designer will “help create a thrilling online action shooter game.”
The ad continued: “This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a bold new franchise which is a cornerstone for a new EA Games Studio.”
While Visceral is rumoured to be working on Dead Space 3 and a possible FPS spin-off, talk of a bold new franchise suggests we’re looking at something entirely separate to the sci-fi horror series.
