EA will be bringing limited editions of Dead Space 2 and Medal of Honor, exclusively to the PS3.

The limited edition of Dead Space 2 will include an HD and Move enabled version of Wii game Dead Space Extraction, complete with Trophy support. Extraction will also be made available as a download from the PlayStation Store.

“We’re thrilled to couple two terrifying experiences in one box. With the Limited Edition, PlayStation 3 fans will receive real insight into the cause of the necromorph infestation and the destruction that followed. This is the genesis of the dark and twisted world Isaac inhabits,” said Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer on Dead Space 2. “The addition of support for PlayStation Move allows us to bring a truly unique experience that was previously unavailable to players and we can’t wait to see what they think.”

Medal of Honor’s special edition will include an HD version of Medal of Honor Frontline, a game which first impressed PS2 owners back in May 2002.

“Medal of Honor has always been characterized by authenticity and reverence for the soldier. That sentiment has never been truer than it is today,” said Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer of Medal of Honor. “Medal of Honor has had a long, dynamic history on PlayStation platforms. We are excited to continue that tradition today with this special edition of Medal of Honor that pays homage to the legacy of the franchise on this platform.”

The special edition of Medal of Honor for PlayStation 3 ships on October 15th 2010 in the UK, while Dead Space 2 is scheduled to arrive on January 28.
