A remastered version of the original Dead Rising could be coming to PS4.
Trophies for the unannounced re-release were listed on trophy-tracking website Exophase.com this weekend, although it isn’t yet clear whether it will also arrive on other platforms. Capcom has yet to announce a remaster, but has previously said that it wants to release more “remastered versions of popular older games”.
Exophase has a good track record with leaking upcoming remasters, too. Earlier this year, it listed South Park: The Stick of Truth for release on PS4 ahead of its official announcement. Prior to that it listed Beyond: Two Souls, which was later released on PS4 as part of a Quantic Dream collection alongside Heavy Rain.
Dead Rising’s listing is particularly interesting, however, given that the original game didn’t release on PS3, instead remaining exclusive to Xbox 360. Microsoft also has a timed exclusivity deal with Capcom on this December’s Dead Rising 4 – but could this arrive sooner?
