Capcom has announced that Dead Rising 2, the follow-up to hit Xbox 360 action title Dead Rising, will be released throughout Europe on October 1, 2010, a month later than previously planned.
No reason for the delay was given.
There’s no word on the Xbox 360 exclusive prologue, Case Zero, which had been scheduled for release in the run-up to the retail launch of Dead Rising 2.
Set in the gambling paradise of Fortune City, Dead Rising 2 introduces new main character, Chuck Greene, who must survive the zombie threat for 72 hours.
Dead Rising 2 is scheduled for release on October 1 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
