Capcom’s Dead Rising 2: Case Zero appears to have gotten off to a great start, with more than 300,000 entries on the game’s leaderboards.

According to GamerBytes, the standalone downloadable prequel has over 328,000 entries on the public leaderboards, indicating strong sales for the title.

Offering a good few hours gamplay first time around, plus plenty of reasons to go back and hack up zombies all over again, we think it’s a snip at only 400 MS Points. It looks like Xbox gamers think so too; even if the leaderboards include multiple entries from one purchased copy, first week sales look strong.

Dead Rising 2 will be released August 24 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version will follow shortly after.
