The PC version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will not ship with any online modes, Koei Tecmo has revealed. Instead, online play will be added in a patch “within 3 months after release”.
It is assumed – although not yet confirmed – that online functionality will be included at launch in the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Quite why the PC version won’t have online play at launch has not been disclosed.
Koei Tecmo announced the PC version of Dead or Alive 5 yesterday. The release marks the first time a Dead or Alive title has ever launched on the platform.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round launches on February 20, 2015.
