Dead By Daylight x The Walking Dead PTB is here! While there are still thousands of Bloodpoints to get from daily logins, players on PC can now enjoy TWD in DBD before the Chapter’s release date. Below are all the perks for Rick Grimes as a Survivor in Dead By Daylight The Walking Dead PTB:

• New Perk: Apocalyptic Ingenuity
  • After unlocking or rummaging through 2/2/2 chests, press the Ability Button 1 for 8/8/8 seconds next to a broken pallet to build a fragile pallet.
  • You see the auras of broken pallets within 24/28/32 meters.
  • Fragile pallets are destroyed after being dropped.
• New Perk: Come and Get Me!
  • After unhooking a Survivor, while crouched and idle, press the Ability Button 1 to make injured and dying Survivors within 24/24/24 meters leave no scratch marks or pools of blood for 10/12.5/15 seconds.
  • You scream and the Killer sees your aura for 5/5/5 seconds.
• New Perk: Teamwork: Toughen Up
  • When another Survivor pallet-stuns or blinds the Killer while you are injured and within 24/24/24 meters, your grunts of pain, scratch marks and pools of blood are reduced by 100/100/100% for 20/25/30 seconds.

All the above perks come courtesy of BeHaviour’s 9.1.0 patch notes. We have also shared the perks for Rick Grimes’ partner in crime, Michonne. While these are the abilities right now, there might be slight changes for the full release later in July.

The Walking Dead was the worst kept secret for DBD as players immediately uncovered “The Ones Who Live” spelled out in BeHaviour’s Year 10 roadmap following PAX EAST 2025.

After collaborating with The Walking Dead, Dead By Daylight will have an original chapter in September based on Asian folklore, and then in November we are set for another licensed episode. This licensed collaboration will include two Survivors as well as a Killer. Rumors have suggested a third outing for Resident Evil, but this has been downplayed by BeHaviour’s community manager.

As shared by Dveet on X, there is a new map. Fallen Refuge on Withered Isle, it has the following description:

“Amid the overgrown grass, a new structure rose from the darkness. Twisted and contorted as if from a dream, melding the architecture of a prison tower-an erstwhile safe haven for the survivors of an apocalyptic outbreak-and a hospital that once healed the people of King County.

Its cruel form stretches into the night sky, a mockery of what these structures represented. Symbols of security and compassion, corrupted into cruel reminders that those in the Entity’s realm are always watched… and can never leave.”

How to play DBD The Walking Dead PTB right now

You can only play The Walking Dead PTB for Dead By Daylight if you own DBD on Steam for PC. Provided you have the game on Steam, simply follow the below steps:

• Right-click Dead By Daylight in your Steam library 
• Select “Properties” 
• Head into “Betas”, then select Public Test Build from the list

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to play the PTB on either PlayStation or Xbox. For players on console, you will need to wait until the Chapter launches on July 29th to play as Rick and Michonne.
