There has recently been a whopping amount of Dead By Daylight leaks, and now even more have surfaced online from the same source who unearthed a presumably cancelled Fortnite collaboration along with concept art for new Survivors. These leaked Survivors include a muscle queen inspired by WWE’s Rhea Ripley as well as a Samurai for the March Paragraph. This source also suggested that Predator is “most likely” the next Chapter and that Friday the 13th is “being worked on” for the future. Now, as if all of this wasn’t enough, even more details have surfaced online.
More Dead By Daylight leaks emerge
A Dead By Daylight “Info Dump pt2” has been shared on LeaksDBD by OP, EvilMegThomas. Before getting into the leaks, it’s important to first point out that, in the comments, the moderators confirm this comes from the “same source as the previous info dump, Fortnite skins and Samurai leak”. This gives the Info Dump credibility, although nothing is official and thus shouldn’t be treated as gospel.
Unfortunately, this round of leaks isn’t as exciting as the first Info Dump claiming Predator and Friday the 13th, but there’s still interesting titbits. To start with, the leak claims “More real life celebrities are being eyed for inclusion on the Survivor role, though it is difficult to vet options and keep things on the positive”. This presumably means Survivor celebrities similar to Nicolas Cage rather than characters having the celebrity actor’s face and voice lines.
There’s also the claim that DBD’s “10th anniversary is planned to be the biggest celebration, but it doesn’t seem to be fairing as such”. We don’t know anything about next year’s anniversary event other than it won’t be Twisted Masquerade as this year’s was the last. The leaker also teases that “Next game year [Year 11] has some real snoozers as much as it has some real peak”.
Everything else discussed is pretty much just rejected and unused content. It’s reported that Five Nights At Freddy’s creator, Scott Cawthon, “rejected a more fleshed out FNAF Collection for original Characters”. Allegedly, this year’s Resident Evil 2v8 skins were all different except for Ada and Wesker, with BeHaviour initially focusing “more heavily on RE4” with “Legendary” cosmetics.
Lastly, the source claims “A beloved personality and creative (especially in their respective community) was meant to be a Legendary, but their team called it off”. If it does return, “It may pop up in the future for a specific celebration”. The Reddit post also includes concept art of a “Scrapped Houndmaster winter cosmetic”.
Remember that all the above is only leaks and rumors rather than anything official. It’s possible some of the alleged scrapped content could be saved for the future, such as the Fortnite skins that were never announced and thus might happen at a later date.
