Christmas is fast approaching, and Dead By Daylight will be celebrating the holiday season again with the annual Bone Chill event. Leaks also reveal BeHaviour’s incoming skins, including more ugly sweaters for Survivors and Ghost Face dressed up as Santa Claus.
The skin leaks come courtesy of prolific DBD dataminer Wazzup, courtesy of update 9.3.0. There’s Ghost Face dressed up as Coca-Cola’s holiday mascot, and Chucky from Child’s Play gets into the festive spirit, too. Survivors getting ugly sweaters include Rick, Michonne, and Vee.
BeHaviour’s Winter Bone Chill event also packs a slew of rewards to unlock through gameplay. There’s an outfit for Gabriel as well as a Frost Queen skin for The Krasue. There are also Survivor shirts to unlock for Jake, Elodie, and Mikaela. Meanwhile, The Nurse, The Unknown, and The Houndermaster all receive weapons.
The Bone Chill event reportedly starts on December 9 and will last until January 6. Once it’s over, we should then get to finally play the licensed Chapter for January that was originally intended for November.
BeHaviour community manager Eric Pope has teased that the January Chapter should be revealed soon. It’s possible the announcement could take place at The Game Awards on December 11, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
All we officially know about the January Chapter is that it’s licensed and stars two Survivors against one Killer. Fans are hoping for Stranger Things, but there are also rumors of Predator, which has allegedly been “lined up since Alien”.
New leaks also show that Dead By Daylight’s March Survivor is still coming out despite BeHaviour suggesting it could be cancelled. A leaked female wrestler who looks like WWE’s Rhea Ripley is also expected to join the Fog after The Grimoire Chapter.
