Dead By Daylight leak reveals two new Survivors; Rhea Ripley inspired muscle queen and March paragraph

There has been a huge dump of Dead By Daylight leaks, and these include concept art for two new Survivors with one a muscle queen wrestler seemingly inspired by WWE’s Rhea Ripley, and the other allegedly the Paragraph previously scheduled for March. Other recent leaks for DBD have shown off the new upcoming Halloween skins and rewards, plus a new Legendary from The Walking Dead. While the imminent Haunted By Daylight event and its leaked rewards are exciting, what’s even more tantalising is concept art for two new Survivors.

Dead By Daylight leak reveals The Wrestler Survivor

On the LeaksDBD subreddit, concept art of two new Dead By Daylight Survivors has surfaced. It’s claimed that this concept art is from presentations given to focus groups to gage interest, so it’s possible they may never fully materialize. However, concept art has leaked in the past for characters before release, including female drummer Vee and The Houndmaster

The first new Survivor leaked is named Mina Kay. According to the description, she is referred to as The Wrestler, and she’s a “bodybuilder and amateur wrestler desperate to make it in a corrupted sport”. Bullet points say she’s in her 20’s and American, she’s “Highly trained, agile, and muscular,” and she’s “Intimidating and rough on stage. Guilt-ridden by choices she had to make”.

The deleted user claimed, “Mina Kay is a fighter based on beloved female wrestlers of the real world and was part of a focus group for Survivor concepts [at the] same timeframe as Vee (who was DJ at the time)”. In addition to her default outfit, OP rikkurikku posted concept art of two skins, with one outfit in wrestling gear, holding a championship and looking a lot like Rhea Ripley albeit with blonde hair.

DBD leak shows Paragraph Survivor for March

The other leaked Survivor is Renjiro Yamaoka. He is a “Samurai on a quest to break a curse,” and he is also “Kazan’s father, Rin’s ancestor, and the first of the cursed Yamaoka bloodline”. In addition to being The Oni’s father, he is in his 50’s, he’s a “Tragic hero, driven by honor, broken by a terrible downfall,” and he is “stoic, reserved, and calm, [a] master of his emotions”.

In another post by a deleted user, it’s claimed that Renjiro is the Survivor planned for March. In the original Year 10 roadmap, the March Survivor was said to be a twist on an existing Dead By Daylight Killer, which makes sense with Renjiro as The Oni’s father. However, BeHaviour has said the March Paragraph and Survivor might be cancelled because of changes made to the Year 10 roadmap involving the November license postponed to January.

We would absolutely love both Survivors to materialize. The Wrestler looks wicked and would be the Survivors’ muscular competition to The Huntress for Killers, and Renjiro as The Oni’s father seems to have an emotionally compelling story. Plus, Renjiro’s a Samurai, and that would immediately make him a fan-favorite.
